The Octagon Barn

We went to the Octogon Barn for their Family Days just to see some of the animals, tractors and especially the sawmill.  I also had a 1% extra credit paper that i could do if i wanted.  I got to take dried corn off the cob then the guys running it put it in the grinder to make corn meal.  I got a whole bunch of it and made homemade corn bread.

 

 

Yummy Birthday Cake

For my 11th Birthday I decided to have Chocolate Cake with Mint, Cream Cheese, and Whiped Cream Frosting and to top it of Chocolate Ganache.  It was the best birthday cake I ever had.

 

Tahgqamenon Falls ( Up North #2 )

I took so many pictures of the falls it is unreal.

This tree's bark is supper cool.

This is just a little fall.

We also went to White Fish Point. This was in the museum. 

I will not be able to finish the Up North Trip for now until I get more pictures from my mom. 

Leaves Leaves and More Leaves

Last Fall we suprised Dad and raked all the leaves in our yard and piled on the side of our driveway so he could pick them up.  He ended up asking Mr. Schutte to bring his dump trailer over so we could put them in it to take them to the village compost pile.  ( Hay!! Do you guys see whats in the backround?  The Old Genral Hospital in Unionville.  It ended up having a fire in Febuary at about 11:30 P.M. to 1:00 in the morning.  After that we bought it and tore it down. )

 

Up North #1

I just realized that every year when we go on a big trip like this we always go over the Mackinaw Bridge.

We drove to Tahquamenon Falls State Park. Molly had a rock and it kept falling into the hole again so she just kept digging. 

Fun with Jacob and Caleb

Aunt Christine, Jacob, and Caleb came to our house for a visit this summer.

Caleb loves to water the flowers. If we went over to a neighbors house and their as a watering can he would pick it up and start watering the flowers.

Curly Qs

Grandpa and Grandma VanTol were building a lean-to on the concrete slab behind their garage.   Grandpa had to make a peice of metal or aluminum shorter.  When he gor done cutting there was this cool piece of metal.

Bows With Amilia

Mom and Dad had to go somewhere so they got us a baby sitter. While they were gone we made bows and flowers.

Oscoda KOA , Nina's Race, and Visit With Oreo Grandma

This summer Papa and Nina VanTol took us to the KOA in Oscoda.

Nina ran a 5k on a plane runway. ( She said that it was extremely boring.) 

I think she got 3rd place as a female.

Since we were so close to Oreo Grandma's house we decided to go say Hi. Then go swimming. 

Molly's Buddy Rider

Molly got a dog bike seat for when we go for bike rides. It is called a Buddy Rider and is made in Canada.

Pillow

Grandma Reed got me a sewing machine for Christmas last year. I made this pillow with it.
